Macallan’s Fine Oak 25 Year Triple Cask Matured is a single malt that belongs to the Fine Oak series. This plays an important role as the whiskeys in this series are aged in European oak barrels, from GDUI of the forest, and American oak barrels.

The Fine Oak series was first introduced in 2004. The Macallan Fine Oak Series involves aging in a combination of ex-sherry (American & European Oak) and ex-bourbon (American Oak). A scotch which has a complex and powerful aroma, which includes notes of stone fruit, oak, and spices. Its flavor is intense fruit and spice with a floral touch that has a light background of toasted oak.

COLOUR: Bright amber
NOSE: Rich and robust with a hint of peach, blood orange, and wood spice.
PALATE: Intense coconut and vanilla with a hint of sultana, lemon and peat.
FINISH: lingering with a hint of sherry, orange and spice.
