Hyundai has always been one of the top car brands in India. But recently, things haven’t gone too well for the company. Its position as the second-largest carmaker has slipped. Except for the Creta, other models are struggling to bring in good sales. Now, Hyundai is ready to bounce back with three new launches in the next few months.
These new cars are expected to bring fresh energy and improve Hyundai’s numbers in the domestic market.
Next-Gen Hyundai Venue Arriving Around Diwali 2025
The new-generation Hyundai Venue is all set to launch by October 2025. This updated model has been seen testing many times and the changes look quite exciting. The design will follow the latest Creta styling. That means a new grille, connected LED DRLs and quad-LED headlights.
The alloy wheels are also new and measure 16 inches. Hyundai is likely to offer a panoramic sunroof in the top variants. All four disc brakes could also be introduced for better braking performance.
One of the biggest updates is in safety. The new Venue will get Level 2 ADAS features. This is a major jump from the current Level 1 tech in the existing Venue. Features like adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and blind spot detection might be included.
In terms of engine, there won’t be any change. The same 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines will be used. Manual and automatic gearbox options will continue.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 Facelift Spotted Testing in India
The Ioniq 5 has already made a name for itself in the premium electric car space. Now, a facelifted version is coming to India. The global model has been revealed and the changes are mostly cosmetic. It now looks sportier and gets a new 3-spoke steering wheel.
Interestingly, the cabin has more physical buttons than before. This could be a move to make controls easier while driving. The India-bound model was spotted testing about a month ago, which means a launch is not too far.
The Ioniq 5 facelift will come with a bigger 84 kWh battery pack. On a full charge, it can go over 500 km. Features will include 8 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, OTA updates, and Hyundai’s Digital Key 2 tech. It’s aimed at buyers looking for a premium EV with modern features and long range.
Hyundai Verna Facelift to Get Mild Updates
The Verna got a big update recently, but Hyundai is already working on a facelift. The 2025 Verna facelift was spotted testing under heavy camouflage. Changes are expected mostly on the front, possibly with a new bumper, grille and headlamp design.
Inside the cabin, Hyundai may add new features and small design changes. The current Verna already comes loaded with tech like dual screens and ADAS. So, the facelift will likely fine-tune the cabin experience.
There won’t be any mechanical updates. The sedan will continue with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engines. Both manual and CVT/DCT gearbox options will be offered like before.
With these three cars, Hyundai is clearly planning a strong return. New design, more tech and better safety features could help the brand regain lost ground in the Indian market.
